Day 2 Dar/ Kilwa
After breakfast transfer to Dar airport for your flight to Kilwa departing at 15h00. 12h00 Lunch at Kilwa Ruins Lodge The earliest substantial occupation at Kilwa Kisiwani dates to AD 800. Kilwa Town became a major trade center from the 1100s to the early 1500s. The site was important during the Shirazi dynasty of the 11th and 12th centuries AD, Kilwa Kisiwani was one of the principal ports of trade on the Indian Ocean, trading gold, ivory, slaves, iron and coconuts from southern Africa. Day 3 Kilwa
08h00 After breakfast depart for a full day visits of Kilwa Historical Town. Picnic lunch, Visit of historical sites, fish market, dhow construction. Explore the waterways in search of hippo, crocs and birdlife, bush hike, lunch and soft drinks. Return to KILWA RUINS LODGE for dinner and overnight
Day 4 Kilwa
Full day at leisure on the beach. Optional watersports activities. Dinner and overnight at KILWA RUINS LODGE (FB)
Day 5 Departure
07h00 Breakfast at the resort. 08h00 Transfer from the resort to Kilwa airstrip for your scheduled flight to Dar es salaam 16h30 Arrive at Dar airport. Met and assisted to connect your International flight.
