2 Days Adventure – Udzungwa Mt. National Park

One of the Tanzania’s most beautiful wilderness area, the Udzungwa Mountains have a high forest area and a haven for nickers. The mountain is a part of the Eastern African area chain of ancient mountain ranges from the Uluguru mountains to Udzungwa mountains. Udzungwa’s wildlife is rich containing Tanzania largest variety of primates ten species including four that are not found anywhere else, these are the some red 1010bus monkey, the matundu galago and the mountain Warf galago (bush baby). Other primates include black, white and blue monkeys; and thick tailed gulago, over 250 bird species have been recorded and over 1300 species of buttery,

The most popular route is the same falls trail that heads through many forest zones to some water which drops over 170meters. The first two have splash pools you can swim in providing a refreshing experience the herd has the longest fall.

Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Udzungwa Mt. National Park

Early departures from Dar es Salaam to Udzungwa Mt. National Park, we will stop in Morogoro for lunch and proceed to Udzungwa Mt. National Park. We will later go for an evening game viewing, take climbing by taking the Sanje route to be able to see th3e 4 stages Waterfalls and later go for a long swim at the falls. Udzungwa is one of the Theirt Four World Biodiversity Hotspots. Expect to see Primates. Udzungwa has 11 primate species whereby 2 of these are found nowhere in the World except in Tanzania which are Sanje Mangabey (Cercocebus Sanjei) and Iringa Red Colobus (Procobus Gordonorum). You might also have an opportunity to see habiatuated Sanje Mangabeys, different endemic plant species, birds, reptiles and Amphibians, Butterflies, Waterfalls, etc. dinner and overnight at Udzungwa Falls Lodge.

Day 2:

After early breakfast, we will go for a half day game viewing with picnic lunches, later drive back to Dar es Salaam and arrive later evening. Drop off at the Airport/Sea Port/Hotel.
